Oomfie Wars (alpha build)

Hello! This is a silly little project inspired by concepts such as the hunger games simulator where you can pit whoever you want against each other, mixed with some team shooter elements. You create the teams, then watch them battle it out, simple as that, with a lighthearted and goofy setting to do so in. I really just made this to make my friends and oomfs fight each other.

This here is the first iteration of an alpha build, it has everything you need to mess around with it and see how it goes, I plan on adding many more features such as in game tournaments and brackets.

The text file contained in the download has more information on each class, each weapon, and how the general gameplay works if you want that info, but here's a brief rundown of what Oomfie Wars has to offer so far:

Gameplay

• 1v1, 2v2, or 4v4 battles each on different maps
• Customize each player's class, weapon, sprite, and name
• Single match or Tournament, hosting up to 8 teams and up to 32 players

Classes

• Yoinker: pulls enemies towards the center of the map
• Zoomies: moves fast and dodges attacks
• Snoipah: long range powerful attacks against the backline
• Whizard: freeze enemies
• Bottom:  heals allies
• Beefcake: big tanky with a shield to block projectiles
• Smoker: blows smoke at the enemies to slow and make them miss shots
• Swagpire: leeches enemy HP to heal themselves

Weapons

• Normal Gun: a normal gun
• Yeehaw: duel wield pistols
• Long Gun: slow firing sniper
• Kablammo: shotgun
• Spray 'N Pray: good luck hitting things
• Bigger Gun: heavier but faster shooting Normal Gun
• Literally A Cannon: it's in the name
• Pee: you heard me right

Latest Changelog (0.2.0):

• Added a Tournament System! You can now run your own tournaments in game
• With the tourney system comes team icons, which you can customize to represent each team
• Added new navigation between the main menu and selecting which game mode to play
• Added buttons to randomize individual players or entire teams, as well as randomize team icons
• Cleaned up some coding and (hopefully?) tied up a couple loose ends
